Today, while shopping in my usual supermarket (in France) I decided to buy some instant noodles.
I buy "Ayam Instant Noodles", with an underline in Chinese characters ("instant noodles" probably). "Ayam Authentic Asian" is the lema.
Arriving at home I check the packages: Product of Malaysia packed and imported by A Clouet (Australia).
Taking a better look, I found an arabic inscription, under it, "Islamic Development Department of Malaysia".
Finally, looking at the Ayam website, I discovered that Ayam means "rooster" and was created by a French colonizer (the rooster is the French national symbol).
Latin, Arabic, Chinese; Australia, Malaysia, France and some Islamic union; all just in a pack of noodles.
This is globalization.
