Moving over the Google Earth

Today I got my first Google Earth hack done.
The hack is a little interface that draws a map (the white lines) and defines target points (the yellow dots). Clicking on a yellow dot allows to define it as a target, then an itinerary to go from the current position (big white dot) to the clicked target is computed and shown (the blue lines).


The interest is:
- The computation is done by my own backend
- Any (small) road graph can be defined
- I can access the computed itinerary

So the next step will be to actually make the vehicle move allong the blue line, which is... well... more difficult.

Having GPS and cellphones systems for tracking people is a trivial old news. But what catches my attention is that a 10 lines (obviously) marketing oriented internet news speaks about "sexual-predators zones" ! Have you seen one of those ? It is a real concern in USA ?
