One more proof that (some) Americans are MORONS !

This video about the discovery of John Kanzius is one excellent example of pure ignorance. It is terrible to see how common people fail the grasp the most fundamental, basic, simple notions of the REAL WORLD, namely the one which physics try to describe.

THIS TOTALLY WRONG how did that girl passed kindergarden ! Energy CAN NOT BE CREATED it is only transformed !

euhhmmm.... hello ? your cellphone IS a radio wave generator...

"salt water, the perfect energy source",
WRONG, there are no energy "sources" there are only energy stocks. The main source of energy entering into Earth is the energy emanated by the Sun. Even that one is finite, non renewable energy.

"salt water [...] unlimited and renewable".
If you think for one second that water is 'unlimited' that means that not only you fail to understand that Earth is round (NOT an infinite plane covered by water), but that you also failed your history courses when in the 1950 we said that 'air is unlimited'. How can you say that "salt is renewable" ? Did YOU do the study that shows that the output of the described combustion will be naturally reintegrated into the ocean ? Did YOU do the study to show that a worldwide usage of this process will not saturate the natural ecosystem ? Because, you know, oil IS RENEWABLE, it just take a few million years to be created...

I do not care if Kanzius is an hoax or not, the fact that he allows this kind of discussions around his discovery, clearly shows a lack of scientific ethic.

This are the wonder of the World Wide Web. Searching for the singer of the "Ave Maria of Vladimir Vavilov", featured in the previous post, I found the first decent argument on why be vegetarian (given my personal ethic).

I still have not found the singer of the specific version, but I discovered that Hayley Westenra provided a popular version of it (you can ear it in deezer using the search "Ave Maria Caccini"). She is a pescotarian. And there, on the Wikipedia article about those fish killers you can read

which sounds to me as a descent argument. While pescetarianism is not a type of vegetarianism, I do not accept the argument for pescetarianism until someone show me proofs that fishes are "more efficient than cows" (including the food chain if the fish is carnivore).

So: music radio->song->another song->cute blonde->pescetarianism->a decent argument on why be a vegetarian.

PS: No I'm not planning to be a vegetarian or anything similar.
